| 2007 | Benteler Steel/Tube buys Rothrist-Group. The company manufactures welded precision steel tubes mainly used in the automotive industry. |
| 2008 | Benteler Distribution established locations in Eastern Europa and founded local companies in Romania, Croatia and the Ukraine Benteler`s Day Care Center "Rohrspatzen" opened at the largest site in Paderborn, Germany. |
| 2010 | Benteler Automotive buys the Automotive Structures Business of Norwegian firm Norsk Hydro ASA. The business unit manufactures aluminum components for the automotive industry. Benteler Automotive took over a pressing plant in Puebla, Mexico, which is now doing business under the name of Benteler Puebla Stamping. The former engineering companies PDE Automotive, Incon Automotive and Fasitet PDE have been unified and are now operating under the single name Benteler Engineering Services. Effective July 1, 2010 the newly founded Benteler International AG with Head Office in Salzburg/Austria supplements the structure of the Benteler Group. The strategic management functions of the corporation shall be concentrated in this holding company. |
