The Chassis Product Group is facing this global challenge. As a full-service supplier we support our customers right from the concept phase with the development of user requirements. We are able to offer not only the required axle, suspension and structural design, but diverse alternatives as well which provide equivalent or superior function and are weight-reduced and more cost-effective to manufacture.

A strength of Benteler Automotive is the design of lightweight chassis components deploying high-strength steels with innovative hybrid design principles, such as crash elements and front and rear suspension elements which are lighter and stiffer.

 With special building block concepts for modules and components, we can fulfill additional customer requirements regarding existing packaging space. This is achieved with innovations such as cost-optimized hydroforms and newly developed joining techniques. Benteler Automotive has extensive experience in this field as a forerunner in the development and implementation of new technologies for products and processes.
